Gold Landscaping Service, LLC was started in 1978 by Stevan Gold. In the beginning, he mowed lawns and provided other basic maintenance services in the Newton area. Steve started providing landscape construction services in the 1980s as the condominium conversion craze began. As that continued into the mid 1990s , Gold Landscaping became experts at all aspects shrub and tree planting, patios, walkways, and walls, and drainage issues. Working with a team of landscape Architects over the years, we have created some of the most beautiful landscapes in the area. Grading, seed lawns, and sod installation have been a big part of the work Gold Landscaping does each season.
In 1992, Gold Landscaping Service bought out a friendly competitor Boston Tree Company. By merging their existing tree crew with Boston Tree Company, a tree division was created that is now one of the larger tree companies in the greater Boston area. Boston Tree company provides high quality tree pruning with their bucket truck and expert climbers, and large tree removal with their 30 ton crane. They also provide professional consultations with their two Massachusetts Certified Arborists on staff.
Clients include homeowners, Landscape Architects, construction companies, as well as Cities and Towns. They have also testified in land court as an expert witness.
In 1999, Gold Landscaping service formally started its irrigation division, Rain Masters Lawn Irrigation. Operations started slowly, concentrating on existing landscape customers. Today, with a client base of well over 500 irrigation clients, and many new installations each year, Rain Masters is emerging as one of the most professional and responsive Irrigation companies in the area. Their vast experience in the field allows them to revolutionize how lawns, shrubs, and plantings are watered. By implementing the most up to date systems and Wi-Fi-enabled controllers to help customers optimize their irrigation systems, they help customers save water and, ultimately, save money.
And that is a big win for everyone and the environment.
